No Ordinary Site

Not just an ordinary website, this is a CMS Site...

Content management systems (CMS) consist of a program and database to collect, store and serve web pages or content dynamically.  CMS websites keep a database of users and permissions allowing control over the content.  For example, one user may be able to create content, while a second user will have to approve it to be published.  Almost everyone who uses the Internet is familiar the concept of a CMS site, even if unknowingly.  This is because Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace are all examples of CMS sites.  CMS sites support the Web 2.0 movement and offer much greater flexibility than standard HTML websites.

What does this mean to you...

  • Much simpler updating - with common computer knowledge a site owner can add pages, update content, schedule events on a calendar or distribute documents to clients.

  • Feature rich – you can have features in your site like calendars, blogs, forums, photo albums, e-commerce, project management, customer management (CRM) and much more.

  • Scalability – though you may only need a small informational site that will serve only a few customers today... as an entrepreneur you'll what your site to grow with you.
